your completed online form and materials you are registering we will ordinarily
file your copyright immediately - or at most in up to five business
days.

Receive Confirmation of Your Filing:
We will send you an email tracking number when your copyright
is sent to the US Copyright Office. Regardless of the time it takes the Library of
Congress to process your application, your filing date is
generally the date they receive your materials. Your certificate of registration is not required to
begin using the copyright notice on your work.
